SUKHAD MENSTRUAL HYGIENE

The Challenge:

Menstruation is often a source of shame and social stigma in many communities. This has devastating consequences for women’s health, as many still resort to unsafe hygiene practices. The Sukhad Project is our stand against this silence, providing both education and essential resources to ensure women can manage their periods safely and with dignity.

Sanitary Pad Drives & Medical Workshops

We have conducted over 500 sanitary pad drives with expert-led workshops to educate women on proper hygiene and dispel long-standing myths.

Sukhad Kits

Each Sukhad Kit includes sanitary pads, soap, sanitizer, disinfectant & disposal envelopes — just ₹1,400 per woman/year to ensure health & dignity.

Why It’s Critical

Over 50% of women (15–24) use unhygienic methods during menstruation. Our kits & awareness combat infections and empower women to take control.

The Challenge:

The pandemic and economic hardships have disproportionately affected women, leading to a surge in unemployment and financial dependency. Our “Vocal for Local” initiative champions the spirit of self-reliance, empowering women to become financially independent entrepreneurs.

The elderly population in India is projected to reach 319 million by 2050, with a significant number facing poverty, abuse, and social isolation. Our mission is to ensure that senior citizens live with the respect, care, and dignity they deserve.
