SUKHAD MENSTRUAL HYGIENE
The Challenge:
Menstruation is often a source of shame and social stigma in many communities. This has devastating consequences for women’s health, as many still resort to unsafe hygiene practices. The Sukhad Project is our stand against this silence, providing both education and essential resources to ensure women can manage their periods safely and with dignity.
Sanitary Pad Drives & Medical Workshops
We have conducted over 500 sanitary pad drives with expert-led workshops to educate women on proper hygiene and dispel long-standing myths.
Sukhad Kits
Each Sukhad Kit includes sanitary pads, soap, sanitizer, disinfectant & disposal envelopes — just ₹1,400 per woman/year to ensure health & dignity.
Why It’s Critical
Over 50% of women (15–24) use unhygienic methods during menstruation. Our kits & awareness combat infections and empower women to take control.
Sashakti (Vocal for Local)
The Challenge:
The pandemic and economic hardships have disproportionately affected women, leading to a surge in unemployment and financial dependency. Our “Vocal for Local” initiative champions the spirit of self-reliance, empowering women to become financially independent entrepreneurs.

We conduct hands-on workshops in marketable skills such as makeup artistry, candle making, and crafting, helping women create their own products and build sustainable livelihoods.
Entrepreneurial Mentorship
Beyond teaching skills, we provide business mentorship, assist in sourcing tools, and help women access platforms to sell their products.
The Power of Atma-Nirbharta
Promoting ‘Atma-Nirbharta’ (self-reliance), this initiative empowers women to uplift their families and communities with lasting economic stability.
ASHA REKHA (Elderly Care)
The Challenge:
The elderly population in India is projected to reach 319 million by 2050, with a significant number facing poverty, abuse, and social isolation. Our mission is to ensure that senior citizens live with the respect, care, and dignity they deserve.
Comfort Kit Distribution
We distribute essential kits including blankets, thermometers, energy drinks, and crucial medicines.
₹800 supports a senior for 3 months; ₹3,120 sustains care for a full year.
Health Camps & Social Engagement
We organize regular health check-ups, awareness sessions, and social gatherings to help seniors stay healthy and emotionally connected.
ANN PRAHAR HUNGER & MALNUTRITION RELIEF
The Challenge:
Hunger and malnutrition continue to plague countless communities, especially among the most vulnerable. This fundamental lack of proper sustenance has dire consequences for health, development, and overall well-being, trapping families in a cycle of poverty and despair. Hamari Pahchan is unwavering in its commitment to addressing this basic human right: the right to nourishing food.

Without proper support, their potential for growth and stable livelihoods remains unrealized, impacting their families and communities. Our Street Vendor Project aims to empower these micro-entrepreneurs with the tools and knowledge to thrive with dignity.

Plantation Drives
