Sustainable Saathi: AquaNova – Every Drop Counts

💧 Every Drop Counts
Imagine turning on a tap and watching water flow away—not for a few seconds, but continuously. A small leak may look harmless, but day after day, it can lead to a significant amount of water being wasted.
In many communities, water is already a valuable and limited resource. Yet, leaking taps, overflowing tanks, damaged pipes, and taps left running often go unnoticed simply because people may not know how to identify or prevent them.
Sustainable Saathi: AquaNova – Every Drop Counts is an initiative by Hamari Pahchan NGO that aims to change this through awareness, education, community participation, and simple technology.
Through interactive workshops, community activities, and a “Water Watch” exercise, we will help community members understand where water is being wasted and what simple actions they can take to conserve it.
The initiative will also introduce AquaNova, a low-cost technology concept that uses a flow sensor and ESP32 to detect continuous water flow that may indicate a possible leak or unnecessary water usage. The idea is simple: use innovation to help people notice wastage before it becomes a bigger problem.
We aim to directly engage 15–20 community members through 3–4 workshops and practical interventions. But the impact we hope to create goes beyond these numbers. When one person learns to save water, they can influence their family. When families change their habits, an entire community can become more water-conscious.
Your support of ₹1,00,000 can help us take this initiative into the community and turn awareness into action.
Because saving water doesn't always begin with a big change.
It can begin with one person noticing one leak, turning off one tap, and choosing to make every drop count.
Every Drop Counts. Every Action Matters.
Join us in building a community where water is valued, protected, and never wasted unnecessarily.
